PROFILE

Chef Vittorio Colacitti developed a passion for sourcing local ingredients, early on, while spending time on his grandfather's organic farm each summer, which subsequently became the Lowville Heights Golf & Country Club where his mother led the kitchen.

Upon receiving a Hotel and Food Administration B Comm. degree from University of Guelph and a culinary diploma from the Thai and International Food Academy in Bangkok, Chef Vittorio Colacitti went on to work for some of Toronto’s best restaurants including George, Lucien, Didier and Via Mercanti. During this time, he also staged in various Italian regions and even worked as a stagiaire

at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon. Currently leading the dynamic, diverse and innovative teams at Born & Raised, Do Not Disturb and The Good Son Restaurant, Chef Vittorio showcases international culinary experience balanced with an undying pride for his roots in Southern Ontario.
